The largest wire factory in Ukraine, producing various types of grid and wire, “Garant Metiz Invest,” with manufacturing facilities in the city of Zhovti Vody in the Dnipropetrovsk region, can manufacture military gabions from its own production of galvanized wire and supply them for defense purposes. The gabion, complete with geotextile and a spring-loaded locking mechanism, comes in different sizes and can be deployed in seconds and filled with local soil.
